The Information Society Press Syndicate is an initiative of Open Society Institute (OSI) Information Programs to assist journals in the fields of publishing, libraries, the internet and other new media published in Eastern and Central Europe as well as Central Asia by providing them with relevant articles and news. The journals may use the material free of charge. Due to its thematic and geographic focus the Center – through the syndicate - can offer occasional texts potentially interesting for these journals.

Members of the syndicate can be journals published in Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakstan, Kosova, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Yugoslavia.
