Ahoj Alena!
Welcome to the club - desparately looking for judges is obviously one of
the major activities of our programs. I'm thinking of establishing some
kind of rent-a-judge enterprise as additional fund raising.
We had had great problems trying to find judges for our first national
tournament, and after that decided to train our university students (who
have been in the program for 2 or 3 years) to judge high school debates.
This proved to be very good: since they are experienced debaters, they
already have a clear understanding of their role as a judge. Most of them
became better judges then some of our coaches.
