Key activities SRCIM is a consortium formed by five major acadamic
institutions in computer science in Slovakia (three universities
and two research institutes). The activities comprise
research, teaching, and development in a broad range of
computer science disciplines.
The key expertise relevant to the IM99 meeting is the
expertisein structured documents and tools for creating highly
structured documents (SGML, XML, MathML).
Key products We only mention the area of structured documents
processing.
We participated in the development of a structured editor and
a uniform working environment for editing higly structured
documents (Euromath System).
EU projects Each of the SRCIM member institutions participated in a
number of EU projects in various disciplines (initially mainly
TEMPUS projects, later projects within COST and
COPERNICUS programs). The project most relevant to the
IM99 meeting was the EmNet (Euromath Network) within
COST.
Non-EU funded projects Many research projects funded by the local government
grants.
