EPDP's mission is to stimulate the use and development of digital information and communications media, with the aim of creating and nurturing open societies.

Access to information is a critical factor in the development of open societies. Unrestricted access to the range of information that democracies take for granted is essential if open societies are to develop and grow.

EPDP empowers and fosters digital media development in countries in transition. We promote local digital content development, and make available international electronic information to these countries.
