Activities in 1995-1996

In 1996, EPSU had a budget of $927,956. Its activities included:

• Conferences and Workshops (Education for an Open Society, School Effectiveness and School Improvement, and Human Rights and Civic Education)
• Consultative visits to 17 foundations (strategic & program planning, direct training)
• Resource packages (school effectiveness & improvement, human rights and civics education, textbooks and comparative education systems and policies)
• Study visits (between foundations)
• Referrals to consultants
• Newsletters
• Compilation of information (foundations' education programs, database of education specialists, lists of textbooks)
• Training (school leadership, program planning, conference planning)
