Future Develpment Areas

In 1997 EPSU plans to explore the development of several other program areas based on recommendations made by national foundations and others in the consultation process that accompanied the preparation of this document. These are:

Minority Education

The possible expansion of the Roma program to include other minorities;

Community Education

A partnership between OSI and the Mott Foundation in the development of community education in the region, based on the partnership experience between Soros Foundation Hungary and the Mott foundation;

Core Learning Modules

The development of core learning modules in each of the program areas with a possible link to international institutions via distance learning;

Human Rights and Civics Education

The professional support of curriculum development, pilot projects, etc. in the region.
