Ms. Nemeth is an educational researcher at the National Institute of Public Education. She has worked in projects focusing on improving school success of Roma students in the Hungarian education system. She has also participated in several research activities in relation with the education of disadvantaged social groups and ethnic minorities.

Ms. Oljaca is full professor of Adult and Continuing Education at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad. She is also Head of the Department of Management of Education, and teaches undergraduate and graduate students. As the president of the Commission for Education at the Faculty of Philosophy, she has been continuously responsible for the improvement of the organization of teaching and for updating teachers' skills at all levels, including the creation of programs of multicultural studies at the Department of Education. So far she has been the principle investigator in a few interdisciplinary research projects.

Since 1971 she has been working as a university professor, specialized in the Theory of Education and Preschool Education. She is a leading researcher of the Slovak Scientific Grant Agency grant. She is the member of the publishing board of the professional journal Preschool Education. In cooperation with the Wide Open School Foundation, she has led experimental verification of the Step by Step program in Slovakia, evaluation of the REI project in Slovakia, worked as home key expert in PHARE project, participated in Comenius - Socrates project.

Dr. Lük is a Full Professor of Applied Linguistics and head of the Department for General Linguistics, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. She also acted, for several periods, as Research Director of the Institute for Ethnic Studies, Ljubljana. She graduated in English and French language and literature at the Faculty of arts at the University of Ljubljana. She has a Ph.D. degree in sociology of language from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ljubljana. Her Ph.D. thesis was titled: "Social Aspects of Bilingualism in the Ethnically Mixed Region of Prekmurje".Dr. Lük has led several research projects related to interethnic relations, cross-border issues, bilingual education, language policy and language planning. Among topics were: Education in ethnically mixed areas, Interethnic relations and ethnic identity features on both sides of the Slovene border, longitudinal, comparative, cross border interdisciplinary research, including one titled: Managing the Mix Thereafter: Comparative Research Into Mixed Communities in Three Independent Successor States (Estonia, Slovenia, Ukraine). She has participated in several international projects (CERI/OECD, UNESCO, UNRISD, TEMPUS, etc.).

Mateja Brejc is employed at the National School for Leadership in Education as a lecturer. She has a B.A. diploma in Sociology from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences. In 2005 she finished her master studies in Management in Education at Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK. In 2003 she was enrolled in a post-graduate distance course in program evaluation run by OSI- ESP and Columbia University. She has been involved in many activities at the National School for Leadership in Education from involvement in several national and international projects, organizing conferences, evaluating, introducing e-learning into different programs, and lecturing. Her main areas of interest are evaluation and e-learning. She is a member of ICSEI, ATEE and ENIRDEM.
