The education of Roma children is one of the most pressing issues on the educational agendas in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. As countries continue to undergo transition and pursue education systems that provide equitable educational opportunities for all, there is an increasing need for more information, concrete tools, approaches, and methodologies that have proven successful in working with Roma children to be available for educators in the region.

The OSI network has experience in spearheading some of the most successful programs in achieving educational equity for Roma children in Europe, with a proven track record of influencing concrete policy changes that help ensure the longevity of the investments made during the projects' lives. As a result of the capacity building component of the REI project, as well as being a result of the REI national projects themselves, a vast number of resources have been created as an outcome of the project.

The purpose of this site is to make resources available long-term for all invested stakeholders to be able to continue in these efforts long after OSI's involvement has ended.
